Xiaomi has always been the dominating and market player in the Indian smartphone and smart TV market by launching affordable devices with impressive specification and design for the price. After a long wait, the company has now entered the laptop market with its Mi Laptop series with some amazing features.
Xiaomi is offering multiple variants of the laptop, the difference between models is the choice of processor and graphic capabilities. The Mi Laptop range starts at INR 41,999 and goes up to INR 59,999, but the company said these are the inaugural price, so it is expected to go up later.
Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition made its debut in India as Xiaomi first laptop for the Indian market. The Mi Laptop 14 and Mi Laptop 14 Horizon Edition come with 10th generation Intel Core processor with Nvidia GeForce graphics. The notebooks have thin bezels and include performance and silent modes to meet consumers needs. Xiaomi has provided a bunch of features which includes Mi Blaze Unlock which lets you unlock the system by placing the Mi Band 3 or Mi Band 4 near the laptop. Also, there is Mi Quick share which offers fast file sharing experience between your Android smartphone and laptop. Looks like Xiaomi is creating its ecosystem by adding these additional features.
Both the laptop offer an upscale design with super-light Magnesium-Aluminium alloy and sandblasted coating. The Mi Notebook comes preloaded with Windows 10 Home Edition and offers DTS Audio Processing to tune out fine audio levels.

The Mi Notebook Horizon Edition features a ‘Horizon Display’, which is a 14-inch display with 91% Screen to Body Ratio. It has a 16:9 Full HD (1920*1080) display and a wide viewing angle of 178°. It comes with an anti-glare coating to avoid reflections and also reduce strain to eyes while working in a bright environment or under a direct light source. This also avoids any kind of marks on the display making it look new always.

The processor ensures top-notch performance clocked between 1.8 GHz – 4.9 GHz. The 10th Gen Intel® Core™ i7 – 10510U processor is a productivity powerhouse great for compute-intensive workloads and everyday activities including streaming, designing, editing, browsing, etc.
Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition is among the first few devices to debut with the NVIDIA MX350 GPU, which comes with 2GB of Video RAM allowing users to smoothly edit photos/videos or play games.
It is also equipped with 8 GB DDR4 RAM clocked @2666 MHz ensuring smoother performance. With a blazing-fast, 512 GB M.2 PCIe Gen 3×4 NVMe SSD, the Mi Notebook offers a data transmission rate of up to 3GB/s. Weighing just 1.5 kg and a screen to body ratio of 81.2%, it looks appealing in a Thin and Light body while delivering top-notch performance. Like the Horizon Edition, it also comes with 10 hours power backup and 65W fast charging.

- Mi Notebook 14 will be available in Silver colour at an inaugural starting price of INR 41,999 on Mi.com, Mi Homes, Amazon.in and offline retail partners.
Buyers will also be able to avail up to INR 2000 discount with HDFC debit and credit cards valid till 16th July 2020. There is also an extended No Cost EMI option for up to 9 months. Mi Notebook series will go on sale across platforms on 17th June 2020.
